SemanticV Opens Demo

SemanticV has opened up access to their online demo of the concept aware Stingray technology. Stingray Explorer has a variety of data sets which can be browsed thematically. This demo highlights the dynamic nature of the Stingray by offering users concept groups that are specific to the vocabulary and jargon used in the documents. In the Enron data set, for instance, a query for the term ‘money’ is guided by the following concepts.

» bills, pay, their, who, paid, paying
» event, facts, fast, usual, availability, exercise
» repaid, repay, loses
» indicate, prefer, stocks, manner
» brain, living, tra, entertainment, candy, thoughts

These concept groups help analysts to navigate through large sets of data by separating documents by meaning. A query for ‘money’ within movie scripts show how different vocabulary themes can be. Stingray Explorer offers the following concepts for navigating movie scripts in relation to the word money.
